Lunch and Learn with Glenn Bowie
Since 1979, the Pasadena City College Foundation has raised much needed funds to help a wide range of students achieve their educational and career goals. In 2020, the PCC Foundation introduced Lunch and Learn, an offering to PCC students who are interested in hearing from industry leaders on a variety of topics necessary for success in any industry.
The Inaugural Lunch and Learn took place on Wednesday, March 11th with PCC Foundation Board Member Glenn Bowie sharing about how a great attitude can lead to the development of important soft skills such as relationship building, strengthening and growing a network, diversity awareness, and self-awareness.
Glenn Bowie currently serves as a Business Solutions Consultant for Sprint and just celebrated 26 years of service. He is the Founder and CEO of Glenn Bowie Speaks, a motivational and inspirational speaking company. Glenn found joy in sharing how his 26 year career coupled with life experiences has led to the successes he enjoys and gave PCC students practical tips for how to develop an attitude that can change everything! 
Jennifer Morales, a PCC business student, shared that most valuable advice she took away from the Lunch and Learn was success happens when you decide to change a [negative] environment and have a positive mindset.
